If you are interested in knowing the work of Diego Rivera this
experience you will enjoy it Diego was the leader of Mexican
Muralistic Movement in México City and he painted his first
mural at The National High School in downtown in 1923
titled The Creation.
We will start off with the mural Dream of a Sunday
Afternoon in the Alameda painted in 1947 in which Diego
depicted The Inquisition, Porfirian Age and The Mexican
Revolution Being already at The Palace of Fine Arts you will
know a controversial mural titled The Man Controller of
Universe same one that was destroyed by Nelson Rockefeller
for having included the image of Vladimir Lenin in 1933 in the
RCA building in New York.
Once in the Zócalo, we will head to the Ministry of Public
Education to continue exploring his work from 1923 to 1928,
where he addressed the themes of the Mexican Revolution and
the importance of education. We will end our visit at the San
Ildefonso Museum to see his first mural titled The Creation
painted in 1923.
